Young Wimbledon midfielder Kai Jennings makes a Whitehawk loan move

Pitching In Isthmian Premier side Whitehawk last night announced midfield reinforcement, with the signing- on loan- of AFC Wimbledon midfielder Kai Jennings.

Kai has been part of the Dons first team squad this season, and indeed has played twice, emerging from the bench to make his debut in the five-one win over Cheltenham Town in early November and again in EFL Trophy defeat against Wycombe Wanderers the same month. He was also on the bench as the Dons lost in the FA Cup Third Round against Ipswich Town, but wasn't given an appearance.

He is the captain of the Dons Under 18 side, and has been with the Dons for...well, just about his whole life, being initially spotted as an Under Seven when he participated in a coaching session in Wimbledon Park, near his home. He seems to be very highly thought of at Plough Lane.
