Ben Allen and Charne Lemba return to Haringey Borough

Prior to Saturday's match against Bognor Regis Town, Haringey Borough introduced a couple of familiar faces to their squad, with the return of Ben Allen and Charne Lemba.

Forward Ben actually joined Borough for the first time a little over twelve months ago, and was an immediate success. He scored on his debut, and then managed eleven goals in nineteen matches.

He started this season at Chatham Town, and has managed seven goals in twenty six matches- including one in victory at Coles Park in December, but we're sure the Bell End will forgive that if he's brought his shooting boots.

Prior to his first Borough spell Ben was with Aveley, and indeed scored four goals for the Millers last season. He first came to our attention as a youngster with Phoenix Sports before being snapped up by -then League One- side Gillingham. He had loan time at Greenwich Borough, Lewes and Bromley, and has since turned out for Welling United, Concord Rangers and Hungerford Town.

Defender Charne Lemba was with Borough during the 21-22 campaign, playing ten times, and played a couple of times last season, too. When he hasn't been with Borough he's mainly been with tenants New Salamis, a big part of their promotion season and playing eighteen times last season, too, after returning from a spell at FC Romania. He has also spent time with Hadley and Cockfosters.
