Double Brickie

By Ian Townsend

Ayman El-Mogharbel and Joe Tyrie new at Sittingbourne

Sittingbourne have announced two new arrivals- although the first one isn't that new at all.

Joe Tyrie joins the club on loan from Tonbridge Angels for the second season in a row, having been rather impressive in defence during the seventeen matches he played during the second half of last season, when he was on the losing side only three times. He also had time with Faversham Town last season, playing twice, but it was as a Brickie that he shone.

Joe came through the ranks at Angels, and has played at Under 18 and first team level.

Ayman El-Mogharbel spent the second half of last season playing in Pitching In Isthmian Premier for Bowers and Pitsea, where he made seventeen appearances. He also spent a brief period with Corinthian-Casuals, playing twice. The midfielder was previously an important part of the side at VCD Athletic, one of the first names on the teamsheet over five seasons with the club.
