Double Grays

Chris Millar and Wilfred Peel Evans strengthen the Grays Athletic midfield

Grays Athletic have announced a double signing this morning, with the arrival of midfielders Chris Millar and Wilfred Peel Evans.

Chris we know rather well. He has spent the last couple of seasons with Tilbury, and indeed played forty two times last season, and prior to that was with Bowers and Pitsea in our Premier Division. He has also played for the likes of Heybridge Swifts, Maldon & Tiptree, Concord Rangers and Dulwich Hamlet, after playing Academy football at Charleton Athletic.

Wilf is new to us, after plying his trade up north whilst at University. He played Under 18 football for Rotherham United, moved on to Winterton Rangers in the North East Counties League and then stepped up to Belper Town in the Northern Premier League Division One East, before returning to Rangers and winning a promotion and cup double.
