Double Robins

Dominic Vose and Mason Saunders-Henry debut for Carshalton Athletic

Carshalton Athletic had two new faces for their draw at Canvey Island on Saturday.

Midfielder Dominic Vose has no shortage of experience. He was part of the youth setup at West Ham United early on in his career, before spending time with Braintree Town, Tooting & Mitcham United and Barnet.

He jumped back into the Football League with Colchester United, after which he played for Wrexham in the National League, Scunthorpe United and Grimsby Town. Whitehawk, Bromley and Chester came calling, before he joined Dulwich Hamlet soon after their promotion from the Isthmian League. He was at Champion Hill for two seasons. He then went on to play for Kingstonian and had a first spell with Margate, and has spent time in Iceland and Gibraltar. This season has seen him play for Hastings United, making thirteen appearances and scoring once, and more recently for Margate, where he has been for only a month, playing four times.

Winger Mason Saunders-Henry was joining his third Pitching In Isthmian Premier side this season. He began the campaign with Cray Wanderers, making three appearances during August, and has more recently been at Kingstonian, where he played sixteen times and scored two goals. He was a big part of the Herne Bay side that spent last season in our top flight, playing forty one times and scoring five goals, and prior to that played for Tonbridge Angels, Margate, Welling United and Whyteleafe.

Earlier in his career he played youth and Under 21 football for Millwall.
