Ashlee Jones and James Taylor new at Potters Bar Town


Potters Bar Town had two new names in their squad as they drew at Brightlingsea Regent on Saturday, with the inclusion of goalkeeper Ashlee Jones and midfielder James Taylor.

Ashlee joins the club from Welywn Garden City, and will be well known to Isthmian watchers. He has spent time Coggeshall Town, Heybridge Swifts, Canvey Island, Staines Town, Harlow Town, Leiston, East Thurrock United, Billericay Town, Kingstonian, Harlow Town, Wealdstone and had an earlier spell with the Scholars. He also played for Wycombe Wanderers, Darlington, Rushden and Diamonds and Boreham Wood.

Defender James moves from National League South side Tonbridge Angels. He played Academy and Under 18 football for Bristol City, moving on to be a Crystal Palace Under 21/23, from where he joined Angels, initially on loan and then permanently. He was part of the Palace Under 23 side which won promotion during 20-21.
