Beer, Brentwood and Brooking

By Ian Townsend

But not necessarily in that order, as England legend Sir Trevor heads to Brentwood Town

Brentwood Town are hosting Staines Town in the FA Trophy tomorrow, and the club have announced that former West Ham United and England legend Sir Trevor Brooking will be in attendance as an ambassador for the Saint Francis Hospice. The club will be making a presentation to the hospice before the match.

Sir Trevor's visit coincides- although this is entirely a coincidence- with the club running a buy one get one free offer on all drinks between 1 and 2.30 PM, and after the match between 5.30 and 7 PM.

It's the first time the hosts have reached the First Round of the competition for more than five decades. They are in very good form, having won six consecutive games. The visiting Swans are having an up and down season, but defeated Pitching In Isthmian Premier Brightlingsea Regent in the last round.
