Rocks name their Price

Swifts man moves up a level- and is now a Rock

Yesterday we advised you that Heybridge Swifts striker Matthew Price had left the club in a search for more game time- and now we know where he hopes to find just that, as he has signed for East Thurrock United, who currently sit in fifth place in the Premier Division.

Price made fourteen appearances for Swifts this season, but has seen his campaign hampered by illness. Now fit, Rocks manager John Coventry will be the beneficiary, and if the striker can recapture the form that saw him score twenty two goals last season, and thirty six the season before (half for Brentwood Town) then he will soon be a firm favourite amongst the Rookery Hill faithful.
