Brentwood Town begin the search for a new manager

Brentwood Town have just announced the departure of their manager, Adam Flanagan, in a small statement on social media. It says:

'Brentwood Town FC have decided to part Company with their Manager, Adam Flanagan. The decision was mutually agreed last night and Brentwood Town FC wish to thank Adam and his Management Team for their dedicated hard work. The new Manager will be announced within the next 7 days.'

Flanagan returned to the Arena for his second spell at the helm in February 2020. He had previously been the boss when they gained promotion to the Premier Division in 2015, finishing fourth in the North Division before defeating AFC Sudbury and Thurrock to emerge from the playoffs triumphant. He was then appointed manager of National League South side Concord Rangers, replacing Danny Cowley.

The club have lost four of their last five matches in all competitions, and sit fifteenth in the Pitching In Isthmian North Division table.
