Foodbank collections- please give generously

By Ian Townsend

Please take an item to donate to Three Bridges, Billericay Town, Enfield Town and Brentwood Town this weekend

There are many people in our society who are struggling to feed themselves and their families, and a number of our clubs are joining with local food banks to help alleviate that suffering.

Three Bridges have partnered with Crawley Free Shop and Crawley Open House and are asking- particularly but not exclusively- for the following donations at their home derby against East Grinstead Town:

Tinned food
Cooking sauces
Jam, marmalade, peanut butter, honey
Tea, coffee, longlife milk
Pot Noodles
Rice pudding, custard
Biscuits, chocolates, sweets
Toiletries
Gift sets
Socks and underwear
Dog food/treats

Billericay Town welcome Haringey Borough, and the Blues are asking for donations for Billericay Foodbank. The message is 'Bring a Tin!' It's also Christmas Jumper Day, so make sure you wrap up warm and festive.

Enfield Town play host to Dulwich Hamlet, and the Towners are collecting for the North Enfield Foodbank, part of the Trussell Trust. The list they'd particularly like you to focus on is below (sorry for the block capitals) but they will undoubtedly be grateful for whatever you can spare:

Many thanks to our clubs for hosting these collections, and to all who give.
