Former Aveley and Cheshunt man new at the Oaks

Kayne Diedrick-Roberts is new at Sevenoaks Town

Sevenoaks Town have announced the signing of forward Kayne Diedrick-Roberts.

Kayne has played in our Premier Division this season, for Kingstonian, but only made one appearance- just after Christmas. The Oaks have mentioned that he moves to them from Aveley, but although he joined the Millers in September 2022 he made only seven appearances for the Millers last season, scoring once, and the last of those came in November 22.

He was previously with Cheshunt, and indeed made twenty one appearances as the Ambers won promotion from our Premier Division- via the Play Offs- in 21-22. He also helped out with seven goals.

A former Manchester United youth, he turned out for the Red Devils at Under 18 and Under 23 level, after joining United from Fulham in 2015 when he was only fifteen years old. He also spent time on loan at Bournemouth.

He joined Lewes in the summer of 2019 and made twenty seven appearances, weighing in with seven goals. He left the Rooks towards the end of that campaign and joined Cheshunt for the first time, but only managed a couple of appearances in Amber before the season crashed to an end due to the pandemic.

He moved to Bognor Regis Town in November 2020. He made twenty eight appearances for the Rocks during the 21-22 season, scoring six goals, following the two he managed at the end of the 20-21 campaign- both in the FA Trophy as our domestic campaign had already been halted.
