Ansu Janneh is a new signing for Billericay Town

Billericay Town have announced their first signing of the summer, midfielder Ansu Janneh making the move to the Blues after finishing last season at Hastings United.

Ansu joined Hastings as a loanee from National League South side Tonbridge Angels, and made twelve appearances- the last of them in Sussex Senior Cup Final defeat against Horsham earlier this month.

The midfielder has previous Pitching In Isthmian Premier experience with Wingate and Finchley, for whom he signed on loan from Dagenham and Redbridge in December 2022 and played six times, with one goal. He played seven times for Lancing during their first Isthmian season, and has also previously spent a little time at Pilot Field.

He joined Angels in October, moving to Kent from Havant and Waterlooville, and has also spent a little time at Braintree Town.
