Former Southend defender new at Billericay

Tommy Davis announced as a new arrival at Billericay Town

Billericay Town have announced the signing of centre back Tommy Davis, who joins the Blues from Aveley on a deal scheduled to last until the end of the season.

Tommy came through the ranks at Southend United, playing youth- he joined the club aged fourteen- and Under 18 football, but not managing to make a senior debut despite being on the bench a number of times. Whilst a Shrimper he had loans in National League South, first at Welling United, and then two spells with Hampton & Richmond Borough- but Isthmian watchers might remember him from a spell he had with Heybridge Swifts, where he made nine appearances- losing only once- during the 21-22 campaign.

He departed Southend in the summer and signed for Aveley, but his time at the Millers is over, and he'll now be wearing a different shade of Blue.
