Forward Temple new with the Jammers

By Ian Townsend

Former Concord Rangers and AFC Sudbury man is new at Maldon & Tiptree

Maldon & Tiptree gave a debut to former Concord Rangers forward Shane Temple in Saturday's Trophy defeat at Witham Town.

Shane had played three times for Rangers this season, the last of them in defeat at Wroxham in the FA Cup in midweek. He first came to our attention as a youth and then first team player for Braintree Town, before moving to AFC Sudbury between 2020 and 2022. He notably scored four goals in an FA Cup win for the Yellows against Harborough Town.

He spent much of last season at Basildon United, where he scored nine goals in twenty seven matches.
