Fregene makes an Invicta bow

Jason Fregene heads back to Kent, and debuts for Folkestone Invicta

Hastings United defender Jason Fregene has made the move back to Kent, and on Saturday made his debut for Folkestone Invicta in their draw with Wingate & Finchley, coming off the bench to play for the last twenty four minutes.

Jason moved to Hastings in the summer, after leaving Hythe Town, where he was an integral part of the best defence in Pitching In Isthmian South East last season.

Jason, a left back, made forty four appearances during 22-23, and scored an impressive nine goals. His time at Hastings has seen him play twenty two times and score twice. He was a winner for United at the Alcaline Stadium in the Velocity Cup last month.

During the 2021-22 season he was at Sevenoaks Town, where he made fourteen appearances in the number three shirt- and he has also spent time at Sittingbourne, joining in the summer of 2019 from SCEFL side Hollands & Blair. He previously turned out for Whitstable Town and Gravesham Borough.
