Fulham loanee for Basingstoke

Basingstoke Town on Saturday became the second Pitching In Isthmian South Central club in two days to bring in a loan star from Fulham, as they signed midfielder Imani Lanquedo. The player made his debut from the bench in the closing stages of Saturday's FA Cup match against Weston Super Mare, but sadly couldn't inspire a comeback as the match ended in a four-two defeat.

Imani, who can play centrally or on the wing, has played Youth, Under 18 and Under 21 football for the Cottagers. This appears to be his first foray into senior football, and is scheduled to run until January.
