Full Ahern for the Rocks

East Thurrock United have announced the signing of Coggeshall Town centre back Pat Ahern.

Pat came through the youth and reserve sides at Witham Town to graduate to first team football, making his debut in 2016-17. He became a mainstay of the side and an almost ever-present, taking over as captain during the 19-20 campaign, and spending a little time at Brentwood Town- four matches- prior to a move to Grays Athletic.

He didn't play for Grays as often as he would have liked due to injury, at one point needing surgery on his shoulder, managing seven appearances during the almost non-existent 20-21 campaign and only in a couple of friendlies the following season, but he managed twenty seven appearances for the Seed Growers last season.
