The two clubs to share Lowestoft Town's Crown Meadow

Travelling Pitching In North Division supporters will get two chances to visit Lowestoft Town's Crown Meadow during the forthcoming season, as it will host both the Trawler Boys and neighbours Gorleston.

Yesterday the clubs announced that they had agreed a groundshare for the next twelve months, releasing a joint statement.

Lowestoft Town FC chairman Gary Keyzor said: “It is a no brainer for us, with the clubs being in the same league.

It is great for football followers who travel to see games elsewhere - now it is on your doorstep, and you can see football here every Saturday.”

Gorleston chairman Jamie Humphries added: “The deal is for 12 months, and the agreement is now in place.

I think it benefits both parties and the one-year agreement strengthens our great relationship.”
