Grays defender Okonkwo is new at the Len Salmon

Bowers & Pitsea have announced the arrival of Grays Athletic defender Geoffrey Okonkwo.

Geoffrey was a reserve player with Athletic, graduating to the first team during the 2017-18 campaign before moving on to Greenwich Borough. He moved on to Cray Wanderers after leaving Borough, and then played for Staines Town and VCD Athletic.

A step up to National League South with Braintree Town followed, before a return to Grays for the 21-22 campaign, playing forty times and contributing four goals. He delivered another twenty three appearances last season.
