Leatherhead bring in Gus Sow

Leatherhead have announced an agreement to sign Carshalton Athletic midfielder- and penalty king- Gus Sow.

The midfielder joined the Robins from Kingstonian last summer, and reunites with his former K's boss, Hayden Bird. Last season saw him make thirty two appearances.

Gus scored fourteen goals for the K's during the 21-22 season, and ten of them were from the spot- indeed we started to believe that his name was actually Gus Sow-pen, so often did those words show up in a match result! He spent three seasons with the K's, albeit two of them unfinished, after moving up to the Royal Borough from Merstham, along with most of his Moatsider team mates.

He previously played for Lewes, Dulwich Hamlet and St Albans City, after coming through the ranks at Crystal Palace.
