Half price Rovers

Sutton Common Rovers cut admission in half for the visit of basingstoke Town, as they try to help those affected by the cost of living crisis

Sutton Common Rovers match against promotion-chasing Basingstoke Town on Saturday was always likely to be an attractive proposition, but perhaps it is now even more tempting after the hosts cut admission prices to try and help out those who are feeling the squeeze at the moment. In a statement released on social media, Rovers explained:

'As a groundsharing club, every penny is vital, however we are all to aware of the cost of living crisis, and with that in mind, and knowing the distance our opponents are having to travel on Saturday, we have reduced admission prices to £5 for an adult, instead of our usual £10.'

Under sixteens will pay just £2, and the match will kick off at 3PM.
