Hartley Wintney appoint Danny Ackland

A new boss for the Row

Pitching In Isthmian South Central Hartley Wintney have announced a new manager, with Danny Ackland taking on the role. He replaces Rowan Vine, who left the club in mid September.

Danny, as a player, played in the youth ranks at Charlton Athletic, but he became a senior manager at the tender age- for a boss- of twenty five, taking over at Wessex League side BAT. Early in his coaching career he coached in the USA, at Southampton, AFC Bournemouth, Chelsea and Ipswich Town, and steered Eastleigh's Under 18 side to great success.

He moved on to manage Alresford Town in 2020, and has again proved extremely successful.

He holds a UEFA A Part 1 and UEFA B Licence.
