Hastings bring in Gills starlet

Hastings United have announced the signing of Gillingham striker Joseph Gbode on loan- and hope he'll be registered in time to take part on their Bank Holiday fixtures against Brightlingsea Regent and Lewes.

Joe may not be entirely unknown to Isthmian watchers, as he had a loan spell at Margate at the end of last season. He made five appearances for the Blues- and they were undefeated during that period.

Joe already has first team experience for the Gills despite his tender years- he's only seventeen- coming on from the bench against Cheltenham Town and Crewe Alexandra last November.
