Forward Matty returns to the Yachtsmen after a short time away

Wroxham have announced the return to the club of forward Matty Hayden, who was a big part of their promotion success last season.

Matty scored eighteen goals for the Norfolk side in the 2021-22 campaign, as they finished just behind Gorleston but were elevated due to their points-per-game. You might also have seen him spend some time with Heybridge Swifts last season- but you'd have to have been quick, as he only played twice and weas sent off the first time.

He has also played in our league for Mildenhall Town, half a dozen games during the 2018-19 campaign.

Amongst his other clubs are Newmarket Town, Histon, Stowmarket Town, Hadleigh United, Brantham Athletic and Lakenheath.
