Scott Heard leaves Folkestone Invicta for Herne Bay

Herne Bay have announced the signing of midfielder Scott Heard, who has spent many years at Folkestone Invicta.

Scott joined Invicta from Whitstable Town back in 2015, and he'd already played more than two hundred times for the Oysterboys prior to his move. He became an immediate favourite for the Stripes, was part of their promotion side in 2016, and was picked up by National League side Dagenham and Redbridge soon afterwards. Whilst a Dagger he spent some time at East Thurrock United on loan, and then moved back to Invicta, where he has remained ever since. He has made- according to the Invicta website- two hundred and seventy four appearances for the club, including twenty five this season.
