Leatherhead support fund raising appeal for Max Worsfold

Leatherhead winger Max Worsfold suffered a cruel injury in pre-season, one that is keeping him out of the game for a considerable period of time and also preventing him from working normally. A fund raising campaign has now been launched to help him through these troubled times.

Max, who joined the club in March from Slough Town, and who you may also remember from his time with Staines Town when they were a Premier Division force, is a self-employed electrician, and is having his livelihood severely impacted by his injuries. He is still having to wait for surgery to repair his Anterior Cruciate Ligament [ACL], Medial Collateral Ligament [MCL] and Meniscus, and could be waiting for a few months more.

The club and its fans have rallied round to help him, and you can help too. Head here for more information and to donate.
