Brentwood Town started the weekend a point behind fifth place Brightlingsea, and had a fortnight to stew on their two-nil defeat against Regent last time out. The Blues took on another set of Blues, the newly resurgent Bury Town, who had won three of their last four and scored seven last time out- but they didn’t score any more at the Arena. Neither did the hosts, as the game ended goalless.
