The Bees sting the Blues- again, again and again

Bury Town got back to winning ways on Saturday, and hoped to delight the Ram Meadow faithful once more as Basildon United came to call- but by full time delight was an emotion only being experienced by the travelling faithful. The Bees had been in superb form, having taken thirteen points from their previous fifteen, and despite falling behind on eight minutes- Josh Curry with the goal- they then found their sting, and they used it again and again. Samir Ali took four minutes to equalise, and two minutes later the visitors were ahead through Callum Fitzer. On fifteen minutes it was three-one, Ben Allen with the goal, and seven minutes later Fitzer made it four. The fifth arrived just after the half hour, Ali completing a brace, and although Ethan Mayhew gave the home faithful something to cheer- if they could manage to rouse themselves from despair- four minutes before the break, the visitors went in five-two ahead and with the game as good as won. Five minutes from time Michael Bareck rubbed salt (honey?) into Blue wounds with a sixth, and United are up to third.
