Canvey Island needed points to ensure they’d be mathematically safe from relegation, but it was visitors Dulwich Hamlet who made the breakthrough in first half stoppage time, Danny Mills with the opening goal. Stoppage time at the end of the second half had a similar flavour, as Ryley Scott made it two. Despite the result, the Gulls were confirmed safe.
