The Blues beat the Ambers- but they need a shootout to do it

We had an all-Premier match in the Velocity Cup, and it was Billericay Town who came through it to earn a home Quarter Final tie against Chatham Town- but they needed a penalty shootout to do it. The Blues were at Cheshunt, and the Ambers too the lead as early as the third minute, Nnamdi Nwachuku with the opener. It was a lead they held until twelve minutes from time, when the in-form Alfie Cerulli, introduced from the bench, got his twelfth of the season- and his fifth in four matches- to set up a penalty shootout. The visitors took the spoils, winning the twelve yard lottery by five goals to four.
