At half time, their side three goals to the good through Tom Bonner, Anthony Cook and Ellis Brown, Cray Wanderers fans must have felt rather delighted and assured of three valuable points. With fifteen minutes remaining that delight would have remained, and yet, they were to take just one. Borough got what looked to be a consolation goal through Scott Mitchell twelve minutes from time, and then with ninety minutes having been and gone, Nadum Melvin-Lambert pulled it back to three-two. Somehow there was still time for another, and Anthony Mendy, on from the bench, was the man to score it.
