Highlights: Folkestone Invicta 0 Hornchurch 2

By Ian Townsend

New manager, three new points for the Urchins

Folkestone Invicta was the destination for leaders Hornchurch, the Urchins under the new management of Daryl McMahon. The visitors were seven unbeaten and had a six point lead at the top, whilst their fifteenth place hosts were on the up, with only one defeat from six. The Urchins had won the previous four meetings between the sides, and they went ahead in this one ten minutes before the break, Joe Christou breaking the deadlock. With twenty minutes left a red card for Invicta’s Toby Byron made an equaliser rather less likely, and the Urchins wrapped up the match eleven minutes from time, Femi Akinwande making it two-nil and ensuring that his side go nine points clear.
