Our leaders, Enfield Town, travelled to face a Folkestone Invicta side who were hoping to bounce back after losing late on to Chatham Town in midweek. The Towners hadn’t defeated the Stripes in their previous six meetings, but they laid that hoodoo to rest with a two-one victory. Marcus Wyllie opened the scoring seven minutes before the break- keeping up his record of scoring in every match so far, that’s three in three- and with twenty five minutes remaining Oliver Knight added a second. Invicta did retaliate, Callum Davies halving the deficit, but that was that. Eight hundred and eighteen watched, the Towners remain top, and Invicta are thirteenth.
