Brentwood Town were in good form as they travelled to Grays Athletic, with only one defeat from eight. They made that one from nine with three late goals, when the match looked to be heading towards a goalless draw. Andy Freeman broke the deadlock ten minutes from time, and four minutes later Romel Aarons Royal made it two. Right at the end Daniel Ogunleye added a third, and the Blues leapt into the top five.
