Highlights: Grays Athletic 2 New Salamis 4

New Salamis had perhaps not been getting the rewards their football deserved, and hoped to put that right at Grays Athletic. They were ahead on ten minutes, evergreen Derek Asamoah with the opener, and although Athletic quickly levelled through Rob Clark, Asamoah added another from the spot on twenty five minutes, and on the half hour Wraynel Hercules made it three-one. Just before the break Asamoah confirmed his hat trick and made it four-one, but Athletic hit back soon after the restart, Clark getting his second of the game to make it two-four. There was no more for the hosts, who drop into the bottom two, their visitors jumping over them into seventeenth.
