Highlights: Hastings United 2 Dulwich Hamlet 2

By Ian Townsend

Two thousand plus watch two goals each

Sixth place Hastings United knew that a win could see them end the weekend in the top five- Dulwich Hamlet travelling to the Pilot Field. Hamlet had only two defeats from ten and defeated Hashtag United with a late goal last Saturday; whilst United were six unbeaten- and defeated Hamlet on their own patch back in August. Hastings went ahead midway through the half, Tom Chalmers with the opener, but just before the break the hosts scored again, albeit in the wrong end, bringing Hamlet level. United regained their lead six minutes after the break, Tom Chalmers making it two-one, but again Hamlet hit back late in the half, Michael Chambers making it two-two. Two thousand, one hundred and seven watched on, and a draw was the final outcome.
