One-nil is becoming the Tanners favourite scoreline, as the Yellas are their latest victims

Leatherhead, with six wins and a draw from their last eight matches, finally got past the Ascot United backline three minutes after the break, Jamie Splatt with the opening goal of the game. Not only was it the opening goal, it turned out to be the only goal, but it kept the Tanners three points behind the leaders and in fourth place. That’s a third one-nil win in four matches for Leatherhead- the other was a one-one draw.
