The Tanners had to fight, but a late, late goal gave them all three points- watch here

Leatherhead and Southall are backed for success this season, and the Tanners started the campaign with a narrow victory, perhaps helped by the fact that the visitors ended the match with ten men. The decisive action was all in the second half. First, Ollie Cook opened the scoring for Leatherhead on fifty two minutes, only for Anthony Mendy to quickly level for All. A red card for Joshua Green with twenty four minutes remaining gave the hosts a boost, but they were unable to take advantage until two minutes from time, Kenny Beaney converting a spot kick to deliver victory.
