Lewes welcomed Carshalton Athletic to the Dripping Pan. The Rooks had only one defeat from nine, the visiting Robins one defeat from eight, so we expected this one to be tight- and it was the visitors who broke the deadlock, Ibrahim Olutade with the opener six minutes before half time. On fifty minutes the visitors made it two, Olu Babajide with his fifteenth of the season, and it looked to be game over when the Robins added a third through substitute Mark Marshall- only for the Rooks to head up the other end, get a penalty, and for Ryan Gondoh to get them back into the match. They had twenty three minutes to salvage something, but the Robins held on for a comfortable victory.
