Lowestoft Town and Maldon and Tiptree, both on the back of big away wins in the cup, met at the seaside. The Trawler Boys opened the scoring on the half hour, Harvey Sayer’s first of the campaign, and the same player had another from the spot ten minutes before the break. The last time the two sides met, at the end of March, the Jammers came from two-one down at half time to win five-three- but there was no comeback this time around, and Lowestoft end the day in fifth.
