Billericay Town fans will be delighted with the news from New Lodge this morning, as striker Moses Emmanuel- who scored better than one goal every two games during his last spell with the club- has returned for a pop at Pitching In Isthmian Premier promotion.
Moses was a youth player at Cray Wanderers, but it was whilst playing for Croydon Athletic that he was spotted by scouts at Brentford and headed to Griffin Park. After leaving the Bees he played National League football for Woking and Eastleigh, and a spell with Dover Athletic followed, before a return to Hayes Lane with Bromley.
Periods with Sutton United and Maidenhead United followed, before his first spell at New Lodge, as the Blues entered National League South. He scored twenty five goals in that first Blue season, and picked up Players Player of the Year, Supporters Player of the Year and Managers Player of the Year Awards. He departed a few months into the following season, signing for Wealdstone, and has since been rather prolific in Pitching In Southern Premier South for Hayes & Yeading United.
