Invicta hope the Penn will be mighty

Kane Penn leaves the Sussex coast for the Kent coast, with a move to Folkestone Invicta

We seem to be continually writing about Hastings United departures of late, and the latest of them is midfielder Kane Penn, who makes a move to fellow Pitching In Isthmian Premier side Folkestone Invicta.

Kane was a mainstay of the United midfield during their first Premier season following promotion, making forty nine appearances and scoring six goals. That followed twenty five appearances as his side soared to the Pitching In Isthmian South East title the year before.

He came through the Academy at Pilot Field before spending some time at Eastbourne United. Earlier this month he swept the board at the Hastings United end of season awards night, picking up a collection of Player of the Season awards.
