K's v Hawks is go!

By Ian Townsend

Two pitch inspections passed- it's Kingstonian v Whitehawk tonight

We’ve all all-Premier FA Trophy tie tonight, as Kingstonian welcome Whitehawk to Imperial Fields. The K’s have had a mixed campaign this season, and this will be their fourth home match in a row, two of which they’ve lost- their defeat against Horsham last Wednesday coming in added time after they led with thirteen minutes left. The Hawks, in contrast, have lost only once since the opening day- and that defeat came against National League South promotion chasers Worthing.

The sides will meet again in early December.

Hawks fans travelling by train, here is the latest advice from National Rail:

Storm Ciarán is expected to cause significant disruption to trains across the south-east of England on Thursday 2 November, with a risk of disruption late evening on Wednesday 1 November and the morning of Friday 3 November.

Network Rail will apply speed restrictions from late Wednesday and throughout Thursday of 40 and 50mph to all trains on coastal routes, and between the coast and Three Bridges, causing delays of around 30 minutes.

Southern, Gatwick Express and Thameslink routes South of London

Do not attempt to travel on routes to, from or around the South Coast on Thursday 2 November. You should work from home if you can

There is a strong risk of fallen trees and debris being blown onto the tracks, with major disruption likely to the service from Wednesday evening and in particular on Thursday morning

Where lines are closed due to the storm it's unlikely that staff will be able to provide rail replacement transport. Teams expect road conditions to be very poor

Brighton to London will have a significantly reduced service on Thursday, specifically don't attempt to travel from Brighton toward London during Thursday's morning peak
