Sutton Common Rovers bring in Hartley Wintney full back Jake

Sutton Common Rovers have announced the signing- on dual registration- of Hartley Wintney full back Jake Rumble.

Jake won't be an entirely unfamiliar name to Pitching In Isthmian South Central audiences, as he played three times for Westfield during 2020-21. That wasn't his first loan spell with the Woking side, as he also played twice during 2019-20.

He didn't travel far to get to Westfield, as he was an Academy star with Woking, just across the road. He also spent time on loan at Knaphill and at Hartley Wintney before joining the latter on a permanent basis.

His debut didn't go entirely to plan, as Rovers conceded a last minute goal against Guernsey to lose the match.
