Rhys Logan heads to Lowestoft from Dereham Town

Lowestoft Town have announced the signing of Rhys Logan from former Pitching In Isthmian North side- these days in the Northern Premier Midlands League Division One- Dereham Town.

Forward Rhys is the third Magpie to board a Trawler this summer, joining David Hinton and Adam Hipperson in Lowestoft.

Rhys was perhaps the creative hub of the Dereham side, and a free kick specialist. A first team regular for seven seasons, he was always likely to find a crucial goal- and indeed, also managed rather a large number of them. He scored in five consecutive matches at one point during the 2019-20 season, including a hat trick against Witham Town, and his goals tend to come in clusters- he also had two three match scoring streaks during 2018-19, and another during 2016-17. He managed eight goals from his forty appearances last season.
