James Love and Martyn Stokes return to Brentwood Town

Brentwood Town have announced the return to the club of James Love and Martyn Stokes.

Midfielder James has already had two spells at the Arena, the last of those ending at the end of 21-22.

James also played for Town earlier in his career, moving on to play at National League South level with Chelmsford City. He was a big part of the Aveley squad that made the end of season playoffs in 2018-19, and has also played for Brightlingsea Regent, Heybridge Swifts, and Hornchurch- when they still had their AFC.

Defender Martyn was a mainstay of the Maldon & Tiptree side for the past four seasons. He previously played for Bowers & Pitsea, winning North Division promotion, making 146 appearances and scoring 18 goals, and was the captain of both sides.
