Bognor Regis Town add former Pompey, QPR and Palace defender Sam Magri to their squad

Bognor Regis Town have strengthened their squad prior to today's match at Corinthian-Casuals with the signing of defender Sam Magri, who arrives on a dual-registration deal from Havant & Waterlooville.

Sam played for England as a youth, from Under 16 up to Under 19 level, but has gone on to be an Under 21 and full international for Malta.

He came through the ranks at Portsmouth, playing Under 18 and Under 21 football before eventually making a first team debut. He then moved on to Queens Park Rangers. Crystal Palace was his next port of call, and then he became established in the National League, with first Dover Athletic and then Ebbsfleet United. He has been with Havant for three and a half years.
