Maidenhead forward new at Honeycroft

Uxbridge had a new number nine as they welcomed Chertsey Town on Saturday- although it's fair to say he didn't have the debut he would have wished for, so rampant were the Curfews.

Christian Johnson moves to Honeycroft on loan from National League side Maidenhead United. He played Academy football with Maidenhead before impressing in the Combined Counties league with Holyport last season, scoring fourteen goals in thirty two matches. He signed a Maidenhead contract in the summer, and then went out on loan to Thatcham Town, where he played nineteen times and helped out with six goals, including one against Uxbridge on August Bank Holiday Monday.

Last season our friends from Football in Berkshire awarded him their Young Player of the Season Award.

His loan move is initially for a month.
