Mayhew heads to the seaside

Felixstowe and Walton United snap up promotion-winning Sudbury striker Josh Mayhew

Felixstowe and Walton United have announced the arrival of striker Josh Mayhew, last seen winning promotion with AFC Sudbury.

Josh had only one season with the Yellows, but what a season it was, as he played forty times and delivered ten important goals. His last match in a yellow shirt was the Play Off Final against Heybridge Swifts, where he was a late introduction from the bench.

Josh made his name at Stowmarket Town. He scored one hundred and thirty six goals in one hundred and seventy three appearances, and helped his side to promotion to our level. He was then a big part of the Stow side which reached the Play Off Semi Final the following season.

He was previously with Bury Town, and has also played for Brightlingsea Regent, Leiston, Brantham Athletic and Hadleigh United.
