AFC Sudbury announce the return of Callum Watson

AFC Sudbury have reinforced their midfield with the return of Callum Watson, who was last part of their setup back in 2017-18 before heading to the USA to further his studies and his playing career.

Callum came through the Yellows Academy and was very much a youngster when he made his debut during the 2016-17 campaign, a second half substitute- replacing Sam Bantick- in an Isthmian Premier defeat at Kingstonian. The following season he made another ten appearances, scoring in an FA Trophy draw against Aylesbury United, before heading to the other side of the pond.

In the States he has turned out successfully for Creighton University- and he is expected to head back to the USA in a couple of months time.
